Keep Purr In Your Thoughts

So, yeah. Had to take Skittles into the vet because she’s been doing things that were making me worry.

She has a really bad, abscessed tooth that needs to be taken out, and the back tooth on the other side isn’t looking too hot either, only not as bad as the other. They’re also going to put her through X-rays to see if she has a growth because her left side is tender. She also has a fever, but they said it might be due to the anxiety of travelling in the carrier and being at the vet. They’re doing blood work and checking her white blood cell count.

The good news in all this is that her heart and lungs sound good, her eyes are clear (for a senior cat) and they’re taking good care of her. My friend recommended that particular vet clinic to me.

Some happy thoughts would be extremely appreciated! Please keep her in your thoughts that nothing else shows up and she can get back to feeling 100% better.

Thank youuuu!

  1. Laura B: Thank you so much! She is 10 years old, and I thought she would be considered middle-aged, but they called her a senior cat. She’s getting up there in her years.

Tim: Thank you! She feels better enough to run from me when I get the meds out, and is frisky enough to pursue renegade crickets in the apartment.

Churlita: Thank you, Churlita! She already seems to be on the road to recovery. You have a great weekend, too!
