In Remembrance – 9/11/2001

This was taken at a memorial fence in Brook Park, Ohio at a VFW station. We were able to sign flags and banners for the troops. This is just one example of what we saw that day. Not sure if the photo is clear enough, but the main message reads, “They’re not going to get the best of us.” Sometimes it seems like it just happened, doesn’t it?

Thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims of 9/11, the survivors and all the soldiers who have fought and who continue to fight for us.

  1. I still get chills thinking about that day. I still recall hearing those tapes/videos where some people who were trapped in the buildings and on the planes, saying goodbye to their loved ones. I can’t imagine the awful pain these innocent people went through on such a tragic day.

Thank you for the nice post.

  2. That’s a very nice and heartfelt memorial. I’ve always believed that we should speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, especially when they are tasked and committed to defending our rights and liberties. Peace and Hope to all who’ve been affected by 9/11.
