A Family Portrait

This is me as Princess Leia and there’s Lord Vader who is another employee. People got a kick out of saying “Leia, it’s your father!”

So this is me with my “father”, but I’ve got my gun aimed at him just in case cuz…well…he’s Darth Vader.

Brah-voh!

I am only addicted to a few shows on TV, but I can add another one to my list. Since 2004, there’s been a special that aires on Bravo called “The 100 Scariest Movie Moments”. This is a horror movie fan’s dream come true. It consists of directors, producers, authors, specialists and actors talking about the moments in 100 horror movies that scared them the most. Rob Zombie’s in the special, John Carpenter, Clive Barker, Stephen King, the creepy guy from “Manhunter”, Cortney Cox and David Arquette, Carol Kane…Lots of people.

There are lots of movies from that show that I still haven’t seen, but when Rob Zombie says a few movies scared him, then it’s time to visit Netflix or the local video store and order that particular movie. I watched the movie “Suspiria” based on what people said about it, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was a very creepy movie directed by Dario Argento.

The show will be on again today at 1:30 and 2:30, but I’m not sure which time zone. Anyway, you should check it out! Otherwise, it should be on again next year. They also added “Even Scarier Movie Moments”, and that one has 30 movies, including “The Grudge”, “Saw 2” and “Slither”.

Oh and don’t forget that it’s Daylight Savings Time this weekend! We “fall” back an hour, so we have to turn our clocks back. Good times.

Another Dream

I slept so hard last night. I barely tossed when I first hit the bed, and then the next thing I knew, the clock radio was playing.

Anyway, I had a dream that a couple of inches of snow had fallen. I went to brush and scrape off my car, and I remember I had that thing scraped and brushed clean without a trace of snow. I think I even made the car shine. Then I looked down at the license plate and it wasn’t even my car (there are lots of cars in my area that look like mine, although mine has a dent). When I found my car, it was all cleaned off.

End of dream.

Any other weird dreams happen last night?
