Finally got to see the fourth installment of the “Indiana Jones” movies this morning! There
was a 10am slot. It was nice to get close parking.
Anyway, I definitely enjoyed it! I was happy to hear the Indiana Jones theme song which always gets stuck in my head days afterwards, and it was great seeing Indie and his hat, whip and battered face. Most of the movie kept me occupied enough so that the movie seemed much shorter than it actually was. Oh and I did love Shia LeBeoef and the return of Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood.
There were some drawn out fight sequences and some moments were like recycled fragments from the past three movies…Gushing water, glowing, powerful artifacts, that one villain that wants complete power (by the way, Cate Blanchett was her usual talented self, it was an interesting role to see her in), people falling down waterfalls..
I’m glad we went to see the movie. I probably won’t watch it again at the theaters, but it’ll be on my shopping list when it comes out on DVD.

Glad you liked it, I have heard a bunch of bad stuff about it. I kind of hoped that they would’ve brought back the Nazis. Oh well!

Oh good to know. I’m putting that on my list to see. Right after “Sex and The City” movie.

I am still wanting to see it…but I am in no hurry.

I do want to see this movie. I’ve heard mixed reviews, but I have faith that I will enjoy it. I also want to see Iron Man and Star Wars: The Clone Wars (CGI Animation, August).

I just got home from watching the new Indiana Jones movie. It was fun and I felt like a flash back to the 80’s original.

I was glad to hear that Karen Allen was in it again. I still have yet to see it, though.

Yay! I can’t wait to see it! Love the lego Indi, by the way!

I’ll work up a blog post about it later in the week. We enjoyed it, but Shi’ite Fluff or whatever his name is instantly turning into a CGI mega-Tarzan stretched it a bit. But we did enjoy it.

Tim: Thank you! Oh and we totally had popcorn. A part of any nutricious breakfast! :) We ate like we haven’t had theater popcorn in ages.
RM: “Nazis. I hate these guys.” No, instead of Nazis we had people from the KGB.
Suze: Let me know about the “Sex and the City” movie. I doubt I’ll see it, though, I’m not a fan of the show. But definitely put Indie on your must-watch list!
Evil-E: You might like it!
AlienCG: Haven’t heard of “The Clone Wars”!
Tracie: It was great to hear the music again, wasn’t it? I’m glad you had fun watching it!
Churlita: She was great, in an interview I saw on Sunday, the chemistry she and Ford had started up right away, as if they had just completed the first “Indiana Jones”.
T-Bird: Isn’t that great? I found the photo online. I can not wait till Wii releases the Lego Indiana Jones.
DMarks: I know the scene you’re talking about, but I thought it was kind of cute and…well how else was he gonna get to the right Jeep? That one monkey reminded me of my mom’s cat.

I saw the new Indie film this weekend and loved every second of it. It is the best one in the series since Raiders of the Lost Ark.

ClearThinker: Thank you for visiting! I’m glad you enjoyed the new Indiana Jones movie! “The Last Crusade” wasn’t a bad sequel either.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I was hesitant to watch it because a couple of people I know said it wasn’t that good … I’m happy to hear it was reminiscent of the original ones though.

A: Yes, don’t listen to the others, just watch it and enjoy it! I heard from several people that some of the scenes were cheesy, but that’s to be expected from an action-adventure movie.

Seeing this movie was the ONLY thing that my husband said he wanted to do this weekend when we visited my folks in Florida. It was SO good. We loved it.
