I’m A Storm A-Brewin

Well not yet. I haven’t been activated just yet, but according to The Weather Channel’s Hurricane Central, my name is listed under possible hurricanes or tropical storms for the Eastern Pacific region in 2006. This is what I found out about Tropical Storm or Hurricane Tara. And watch out for me, cuz you know how I like to throw things across rooms when I’m angry.
As cool as it was to find out I was listed as a hurricane/storm name, I hope the hurricane season isn’t that busy and terrifying that they tear through that many names in order to get to the “T”s.

The tenth storm in the Atlantic this year will be named after my mother, Joyce. I’m going to give her grief to no end if that storm brews up =;-)

I can imagine some guy on the Weather channel in the middle of the storm yelling about how “Tara is causing billions of dollars in damage as week speak!”

Yo, we got to the Greek alhabet last year. I’m guessing your namesake storm is a foregone conclusion. At least I won’t have to deal with it.

I just hope your hurricane isn’t one of those that forms and fizzles out before it makes it to the news. Hopefully, it will at least sit out in the ocean looking ominous for a few days while people wonder wonder where you’re going.

I doubt there has ever been a Hurricane Martyn. A “slight-shower” Martyn is a possibility though.
